Råå Nautica/Nauticatrading, its owner, employees, associates, or agents will not be liable for any forms of claims in excess of the total sale value of the item purchased and including any liability for products not being available for use. Råå Nautica/Nauticatrading will not be liable for loss of business profits, personal injuries or any other consequential claims. Neither, in any way, for special, indirect or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party except as expressly provided herein. The sole liability Råå Nautica/Nauticatrading shall incur for any and every claim, whether based in contract or tort, at law or in equity, for any loss or damages arising from, resulting from, or connected with the item and this agreement, will be limited to the lesser of the actual amount of such loss or damages or the total purchase price paid by customer for the item(s) or products that are the subject of the claim. Råå Nautica/ Nauticatrading will not under any circumstance be legally liable for refunding more than what the buyer paid for the item(s). Shipping costs, handling costs, insurance costs, duties, taxes, fees for shipped or returned items are the sole responsibility of the buyer and will under no circumstance be refunded by Råå Nautica/Nauticatrading, nor will any claim to this extent be accepted or acknowledged. All our secondhand items are registered and filed in accordance with Swedish trading regulations and police directives and every attempt is made to establish the origin of each item. Råå Nautica/Nauticatrading will not be liable for any forms of claims or legal charges and expenses relating to stolen property, theft or other criminal activities. All such matters will immediately be referred to police investigation. All and any disputes against Råå Nautica/Nauticatrading are governed by the laws of Sweden and are to be settled in a Swedish Court of Law without exception.

Droit de Suite:

In accordance with the Swedish Copyright Act a royalty – droit de suite – will be charged of an extra 5% excluding VAT/GST to all buyer’s, both national or international, for works of art by artists sold during their lifetime and 70 years thereafter. Any works of art sold at less than est. US $ 215 (1845 SEK) are excluded from the above stated royalty.

Export Restrictions:

Please note that EU/Swedish export/import restrictions may apply to some items. Generally items that are more than 100 years old (antiques) are not permitted to be exported from Sweden. In accordance with Swedish law (1988:950) concerning natural cultural objects, an export license is required for certain objects, further info at www.raa.se (Riksantikvarieämbetet). Applications for export licenses are the responsibility of the buyer and should be sent to the Central Board of National Antiquities or the National Historical Museum, Box 5405, 114 84 Stockholm, Sweden.

Payment:

All items sent outside the EU will be shipped with a commercial invoice and marked "second hand goods" when applicable. Within the EU we can also send items COD. We welcome payment via SWIFT bank to bank transfer - SWIFT address and IBAN account details given to registered buyers. We accept all major credit and debit card payments only through online services via PayPal. We accept cash payments via registered post at buyers risk. After confirmation with us, payment can be made in US $ - Euro - SEK.  Please note that International Money orders, Cashier checks, Personal checks, Billpoint, Bidpay, WU payments are not accepted!
